Given the fact that I specialize in students 14 years and older, in my opinion, partnerships are the most effective communication option for teacher and student. Partner communication leads to success much more often than a paternalistic approach (I said, and you do it without too many questions).
So if someone needs a deliberately strict, authoritarian, overhangingly controlling teacher, that's probably not my place.
But if you or your child have set a goal (to pass an exam, to master the program, etc.) - I will help you achieve your goal as quickly and efficiently as possible, save your time and nerves. I'll explain the material clearly, I'll suggest the right resources, we'll work out a suitable study rhythm, and so on.
